Tricycle Association Website – Report by the Webmaster as at 12th May 2010

Current Status
The Tricycle Association Website, www.tricycleassociation.org.uk has been running for 66 (54) months in its current version.

. It currently has 201 (158) pages of which 186 (145) are active.
. 41pages have been added in the year:
Galleries for the Fliss Beard 100, Bruce Kingsford weekend, May Day weekend in Lincolnshire, South Western 50, Mildenhall Rally, North Eastern 25 in September, Spelling weekend and the World Tricycle Championships at Blenheim.

My thanks to all the contributors, who have provided a steady stream of photos for National events.

. 1 Results page for 2010
. The 2010 volume of Eastern Regional Newsletters,
. Pages with details of the Mildenhall Grass Track Programme, The World Championship weekend and several more that, I’m afraid I haven’t currently time to check on.

Last year there were 1404 pictures on the site, mainly in Galleries. A good many more have been added, I shall count them when I have time.

Due to pressure of time, I have not been able to decipher the details given in previous reports, but the visits and use of the site appear to be much the same as in previous years.

Detailed statistics have been available from Google Analytics from 4 July 2007. I have a brief summary available for people to see after the AGM and will pass a copy of this to the Secretary as a matter of record. My special thanks to Mike Moody who has been able to keep the site going when I’ve been away riding my trike and has been invaluable in coming to my assistance when the brain cells fail.

Thank you to everyone else who has contributed to the site over the last year with news, results and photos. Without you there would be no site.

My apologies for the sketchiness of this report but activity on the web, my duties to my own cycling club and a recent bereavement in the family have been taking a heavy toll of my time. In the words of many retired people, How did I find time to go to work?

In the calmer days of the winter, I shall analyse the statistics deeper and fill in the gaps in the report for the February NEC meeting.

As always, if you have any news, photographs, comments or ideas I will always welcome them. Above all this is the Association’s website and I wish it to reflect the demands of the members.
