Bruce Kingsford Weekend 2012
Barry Charlton made a clean sweep of the awards for the National Championship 50 mile TT on a horribly wet and cold Sunday, the 2nd June, with a winning time of 2:02:18; Fastest on Handicap of 1:43:24 and a Vets Standard of +24:18.
Second place went to Carl Saint (2:14:50) in the scratch event, and Geoff Booker (1:45:52) in the handicap event.
On the following day (Bank Holiday Monday) Peter Holland and Carl Saint lined up to ride the Anfield BC 100. Carl claimed the prize for fastest tricyclist who'd finished the Bruce Kingsford the day before with his 4:50:41. Peter improved on his 100 mile time this year to finish in 6:18:37. Ralph Dadswell also rode his second 100 of the year, this time partnering Paul Mace to record 4:14:17.
