This is a special event, in honour of Bill’s memory.
Every finisher in the event will be awarded a T. A. Medal as a souvenir to commemorate the occasion (other T.A. medals will be awarded on scratch and handicap, according to the size of entry).
This will be a fitting tribute, for such a special man.
Therefore
It would be a great Honour and pleasure for the South East Region of the T.A.. and Bill’s cycling club C. C. Bexley to receive your entry or support for this Memorial event. Everybody is “Welcome”
(This is also a Tricyclists’ Time Trial League qualifying event.)

Accomodation for 19th April 2009
I have telephoned each of the hotels/B&Bs/camp sites listed below, and have explained the accommodation I am looking for. They all have vacancies (at 5 March), all provide off-street parking, and all hotels/B&Bs offer a Continental breakfast from 06.00hrs. They are all happy to provide the accommodation we want. They are all located outside the city centre itself – Canterbury has many tourists.
Canterbury is about 10 miles from the event HQ – the first turn in the ‘25’ is just outside Canterbury. Canterbury is also easily accessible from the A2/M2. I have not given details of evening meals at these establishments in all cases, but if they do not provide them, there are many other restaurants and pubs in Canterbury.
